Did we say Mercury retrograde was a time of conflicting market signals? This Mercury retrograde period (March 12-April 4) has to rank as one of the most extreme examples of mixed market signals around the world that we have ever witnessed – which of course, is typical for this signature, especially during a week in which there was also a hard aspect involving Uranus. In fact, the Sun was conjunct Uranus last weekend (March 24) and in square aspect to Pluto March 29. That whole period of March 23-29 represented the “Sun’s translation” to the forthcoming Uranus-Pluto square (June 2012-March 2015).
