Freemasonry offers a way forward to all people who are genuinely seeking to find the meaning and purpose of life. It is an organization, a brotherhood, dedicated to philosophical enquiry and philanthropy. This anthology contains selected words of wisdom from internationally renowned Freemasons –poets, philosophers, writers, artists, politicians, scientists, painters, inventors, soldiers, journalists, industrialists, jurists, and entrepreneurs– from the founding of Freemasonry to the present day.

Υπήρξαν μέλη της αδελφότητας αυτής και οπαδοί ενός φιλοσοφικού συστήματος που αναζητά απαντήσεις στα αιώνια ερωτήματα που απασχολούν τον κάθε σκεπτόμενο άνθρωπο σχετικά με τη θέση του στον κόσμο και το νόημα της ζωής. Η ανθολογία αυτή περιλαμβάνει επιλεγμένα αποφθέγματα από επιφανείς Ελευθεροτέκτονες –ποιητές, φιλοσόφους, συγγραφείς, καλλιτέχνες, πολιτικούς, δικαστές, επιστήμονες, επιχειρηματίες κλπ–, από τη γέννηση του Τεκτονισμού μέχρι σήμερα. Dr. Panos Koronakis-Rohlf was born in Athens in 1961. He studied chemical engineering and continued for postgraduate studies at German-speaking Schools of Engineering in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology, and today he lives and works in Greece and Germany as the Chief Executive of a German multinational company manufacturing medical products. Apart from spending time with his family, he dedicates his free time to writing and photography. He is also engaged in charitable work, mainly through the Richard and Anne Rohlf Foundation, of which he is the President. He is the co-author of Ancient Greece and the Modern Manager (Kalendis, 2009), Wisdom Made in Delphi: The Commandments of the Seven Sages(Topos Books 2011) and Greek Wisdom: The Land and the People (Topos Books 2012).
Ο δρ Πάνος Κορωνάκης-Rohlf γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1961 και σπούδασε χημικός μηχανικός. Συνέχισε για μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στα γερμανόφωνα Πολυτεχνεία της Αυστρίας, της Ελβετίας και της Γερμανίας, και ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική διατριβή του στη βιοτεχνολογία. Σήμερα ζει και εργάζεται στην Ελλάδα και τη Γερμανία ως Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος γερμανικής πολυεθνικής εταιρείας ιατρικών προϊόντων. Τον ελεύθερο χρόνο του ασχολείται με την οικογένειά του, τη συγγραφή, τη φωτογραφία, και με κοινωφελές ανθρωπιστικό έργο, κυρίως μέσω του κοινωφελούς ιδρύματος «Richard und Anne Rohlf Stiftung», του οποίου είναι Πρόεδρος.
